Châteaux Beychevelle & Beaumont dinner - Thursday 20 February, 2025
On Thursday 20 February we will be hosting a dinner in the spending surroundings of the grand St James’s Room at 67 Pall Mall, London, featuring the wines of world-famous estate, Château Beychevelle and their sister property, Château Beaumont.
We will be joined for the evening by Erwan Le Brozec, commercial director of Château Beychevelle who, after a champagne reception and over a sumptuous dinner, will lead us through the following wines:
Château Beaumont 2018, 2016
Château Beychevelle 2019, 2015, 2005, 1985
A world famous, classified Fourth Growth of Bordeaux, and particularly popular in the UK, Château Beychevelle is one of the finest estates in Saint-Julien, perfectly placed on the banks of the Gironde and consistently making outstanding claret.
Château Beaumont is Beychevelle’s sister site in the Haut-Médoc and makes excellent red at affordable prices.
Places for the dinner are limited to twenty seats and I expect significant demand. Early bird tickets are £340 per head which includes a case of six bottles (or three magnums) of Château Beaumont 2019, one of the wines we’ll enjoy alongside dinner. Tickets from 1 January will be £400 per head.
Comparable wine dinners in London with classified estates often cost upwards of £600 a seat, so this is outstanding value for what will be a very special evening.
Guests are also welcome to upgrade their ticket to instead include a case of six bottles of Château Beychevelle 2019, for £750 per head.
I hope you will consider joining us for this rare vinous evening, a must for Bordeaux lovers, as we try vintages of top Bordeaux that are increasingly out of reach for mere mortals! Tickets also make the perfect Christmas gift for the wine lover in your life, and we’d be pleased to create a gift certificate should you be interested in buying for someone.
