We’re delighted that on Wednesday 11 November we will host an extra special dinner with Véronique Sanders of Château Haut-Bailly in Pessac-Léognan, in the private dining room at Noizé in Fitzrovia, one of London’s most quietly brilliant French restaurants.
Véronique is the fourth generation of her family to be connected with Haut-Bailly and has guided this great Graves Cru Classé for more than a quarter of a century. Under her stewardship, the estate’s reputation for wines of finesse, depth and charm has never been higher, and this is a very rare chance to hear the story of Haut-Bailly first-hand, from the person who knows it best.
After a Champagne reception, we’ll sit down to a sumptuous four-course dinner, tasting across two decades of Haut-Bailly: the youthful energy of 2020 and 2022, the celebrated pairing of 2015 and 2016, and the 2004 served from magnum, now in its prime and one of Véronique’s favourite vintages.
We’ll then finish with one of the great wines of Barsac, Château Climens 2005.
Founded by former Pied à Terre co-owner Mathieu Germond, Noizé is known for its classically led French cooking and one of London’s most thoughtfully curated wine lists, making it the perfect setting for an evening of fine Bordeaux.
Guests will enjoy the following wines throughout the evening:
Champagne reception

Haut-Bailly II 2020 (93+ points Vinous)
