Champagne Confidential - The Grand Marque Blind Tasting - Thursday 12 June, from 7pm
Join Clos Fine Wine at Stanley Gibbons Baldwins on The Strand, London for a special event tasting a range of Grand Marque champagnes blind, to establish if you really are a Pol Roger fanatic, or a Bolly dolly. What happens when we can’t see the label on a bottle of champagne; is our true favourite champagne just a sip away?!
We’ll taste a selection of Grand Marque champagnes like Taittinger, Gosset and Pol Roger, to name a few, with some extra surprises thrown in there. Dominic will lead the tasting and each guest will mark their own personalised scorecard. As well as the tasting there will be a fun quiz at the end with the prize a bottle of vintage champagne.
This will be an exceptional evening in London looking at not just how Champagne is made, but what makes the best and how you should go about shopping for yours.
